Harney defends Taoiseach's intervention

Tánaiste Mary Harney has defended the Taoiseach against accusations he tried to intervene in the business of a local planning authority.

Reports said Bertie Ahern wrote to Roscommon County Council asking it to put on hold proceedings being taken against the owner of a quarry.
