Adair's wife and son appear on drug charges
The wife and son of convicted terrorist Johnny “Mad Dog” Adair appeared in court today on drug charges.
Jonathan Adair, aged 19, of Horwich, Bolton, Greater Manchester, appeared first at Bolton Magistrates Court alongside 22-year-old Benjamin Dowie, also of Horwich.
The two were charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine and the supply of Class A drugs.
Adair, who spoke only to confirm his name and address, faces 10 separate charges.
The two were remanded in custody to appear at Bolton Crown Court on December 23.
Gina Adair, aged 37, appeared later, charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine.
She stood alongside another woman, Karen Truesdale, aged 32, and a 13-year-old boy, both from Halliwell, Bolton, who also faced drugs charges.
The three were remanded on conditional bail to appear in court on December 23.
Another man, William Truesdale, aged 40, of Horwich, also appeared in connection with the same offences. He was remanded in custody to appear the same day.
Mrs Adair and her four children came to Bolton in February, along with a number of other families to escape Loyalist infighting in Belfast.
