Martin: Govt taking action on medical errors

Health Minister Micheál Martin has insisted that the Government is taking action to reduce the number of deaths caused by preventable medical errors in Irish hospitals.

A television documentary earlier this week claimed around 2,000 people were dying in Ireland’s hospitals every year due to preventable errors.
