Harney: Insurance costs expected to drop

The Tánaiste, Mary Harney, has said she expects to see further cuts in the cost of insurance following a recent report, which shows that Irish insurance companies made an underwriting profit of €25m in this country last year.

This compares to a loss the previous year, and according to Ms Harney, the improvement has continued this year.
