A man in his 20s has died in hospital after being injured in a building site accident in Co Mayo yesterday.

A man in his 20s has died in hospital after being injured in a building site accident in Co Mayo yesterday.

The accident happened on a site in Westport, but further details have not been revealed.

The company that runs the site, MJ Conroy and Sons, said it would carry out a full investigation into the incident.
