Gardaí in Co Limerick are investigating a fatal road traffic collision in which a 50-year-old female pedestrian was killed.

The accident happened at Fairhill, Rathkeale in Co Limerick at around 1:45am this morning.

Gardaí have not yet released the name of the woman.
