‘More must be done to help underprivileged children’

Unicef Ireland has called on governments and development agencies throughout the world to do more to help underprivileged children.

The organisation said children everywhere should have a right to education. It said funding for education should be increased and school fees abolished in order to improve the education prospects for underprivileged children.
