YFG to hold 'sleep-out' in aid of homeless
Young Fine Gael is to hold an overnight "sleep-out" in aid of the homeless tonight.
The fund-raising event, which is taking place in a number of towns and cities, is part of an on-going campaign against homelessness launched by the Fine Gael youth wing last year.
The party claims 6,000 people will spend this Christmas on the streets and that the Government is failing to adequately address the growing homelessness problem.
