Minister reports 18.3% increase in new houses

Junior Minister Noel Ahern has reported an 18.3% increase in the number of new houses completed in the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year.

Mr Ahern, who has responsibility for housing and urban renewal, said 47,758 new housing units were completed up to the end of September.
