Taxi driver stops hi-jacking of colleague's vehicle

Two men are being held by gardaí following an attempted taxi hi-jacking in Co Meath at 4am this morning.

Two men in their twenties flagged down a taxi on the Fairyhouse Road. The driver was returning home from Dublin.
