Gardaí hunt post office raiders

Gardaí are searching for two armed raiders who held up staff at a post office in Wexford town.

The two men, one of whom had a handgun, raided the post office in Redmond Square at 5pm this evening.

The pair made off on a motorbike with an undisclosed amount of cash but crashed within a short distance.

The men are now thought to be on foot.
