Public warned over Spanish lottery scam

An alert has been issued warning unsuspecting members of the public to be on their guard against bogus claims that they won large amounts of cash in the Spanish lottery.

The scam is designed to get personal banking details that enable the perpetrator to clean out the victims' bank accounts.
