Train drivers to ballot on strike action
Rail passengers could face disruption to services before Christmas as train drivers continue to ballot for industrial action.
Around 100 drivers, who are members of the ATGWU, are seeking negotiating rights with Iarnród Éireann.
The company says it will take legal action against the union if they press ahead with a disruption to services.
John Bolger from the ATGWU says there are a number of factors to consider before taking to the picket lines, including legal advice.
