Govt urged to fight Aids in jails

The Irish Penal Reform Trust is calling on the Government to take immediate action to help stop the transmission of HIV and Aids in Irish prisons.

The group says Ireland is one of the worst countries in the EU for the prevention of HIV in prisons, and we are below the standards set up by the World Health Organisation.
