Future of Jeanie Johnston uncertain
The future of the Jeanie Johnston famine ship is uncertain, according to reports.
The vessel will be moored in the Dublin Docklands until the sixth of January, where it is open to the public as a floating museum.
The ship had a troubled history but enjoyed a very successful year touring the East Coast of the US and Canada.
However, Denis Reen, Chief Executive of the Jeanie Johnston Company, says there is a question over what the future holds.
