Trimble: We will still get 26 to 28 votes
In Fermanagh South Tyrone, anti-Agreement UUP candidate Arlene Foster and Sinn Féin's Michelle Gildernew have been elected.
Ms Foster said people knew when they voted for her that she was against the Agreement.
The UUP leader, David Trimble, who has been elected in Upper Bann, said his party would end the day with 26 to 28 seats and he had every intention of continuing as party leader.
In the Lagan Valley constituency there is a battle for last seat between the SDLP's Patricia Lewsley, the sitting assembly woman, and Sinn Féin's Paul Butler.
