5,000 communities devastated over Government cuts

The Government is being slammed over a decision to cut 5,000 community employment schemes.

Fine Gael says it is a disgrace that the Minister for Finance is refusing to allow more time to debate the matter in the Dáil. Fianna Fáil backbenchers have also criticised the move.
