Ahern finishing European visits

The Taoiseach concludes a year-long series of visits to European capitals later today when he goes to Copenhagen in Denmark and Riga in Latvia.

Mr Ahern will hold talks in both cities on Ireland's forthcoming presidency of the EU which gets underway on January 1st next, in just five weeks time.
