Greens call for carbon tax in Budget

The Green Party has called on the Minister for Finance to introduce a carbon tax in the upcoming Budget, insisting the tax would be easy to implement and would create jobs.

Deputy Eamon Ryan says he is anxious to see it created and is insisting that it would be a tax on the use of resources rather than on labour.
