Sale of Dublin cows raises €500k for charities

The auction of Dublin's celebrity cows has taken place, raising €0.5m for the Simon community and the Jack and Jill Foundation.

Sixt-nine brightly coloured models of cows, designed by celebrities, have been dotted around the capital since last summer.
