Sinn Féin releases 'alternative budget'

Sinn Féin is calling for low paid workers to be completely removed from the tax net.

At the launch of its “alternative” budget, the party says people earning in excess of €100,000 should be the subject to a 50% tax band and Corporation Tax for the banking sector should be increased to 30%.
