Man accused of IRA membership is freed on bail

A Limerick man charged with membership of an illegal organisation and possession of a handgun and ammunition was freed on bail at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today.

A Limerick man charged with membership of an illegal organisation and possession of a handgun and ammunition was freed on bail at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today.

Jeffrey Lee (aged 31), of Whitecross Gardens, Moyross, Limerick was charged earlier this month with membership of an illegal organisation styling itself the Irish Republican Army, otherwise Oglaigh na hEireann, otherwise the IRA on November 4.
