The Green Party has called on Justice Minister Michael McDowell to clarify his stance on the use of incinerators in Ireland.

Party spokesman John Gormley said today that Mr McDowell told a meeting of residents in his constituency last night that he was opposed to the construction of an incinerator on the Poolbeg Peninsula in Dublin.
