Man killed in Roscommon accident

A man in his late forties died in a road traffic accident in Co Roscommon this morning.

Ralph Monaghan of Strandhill, Co Sligo, was killed when the van he was driving collided with another van at Rathra, Frenchpark just off the N5 in Co Roscommon.

The accident happened at around 9am today.

Another man was also injured in the accident. He was taken to Sligo General Hospital.
