Human Rights Commission calls for Garda Ombudsman

The Human Rights Commission says more must be done to put human rights at the centre of policing law and policy in Ireland.

The commission is again calling for the creation of an Office of Garda Ombudsman, which remains absent from the proposed Garda Bill.
