The issue of policing and justice is developing into a major bone of contention between the two main unionist parties in the North ahead of the Assembly election later this month.

The DUP has repeatedly claimed that Sinn Féin’s Gerry Kelly could become Justice Minister within two years if voters elect the UUP as the main unionist party in the Assembly and Sinn Féin as the main nationalist party.
