The Cabinet is expected to discuss the final wording of exemptions to the controversial smoking ban when it meets in Dublin today.

Health Minister Micheál Martin revealed last week that prisons, garda cells, nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals and hotel bedrooms would be exempt from the proposed ban on smoking in all Irish workplaces.
