Rotunda staff call for regulation of home births

Obstetric and paediatric staff at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin have called for the regulation of home births in Ireland.

The staff said they had made numerous complaints to the Department of Health over the past two years about the increased death rate among babies born in home deliveries.
