Taoiseach on official visit to Cyrpus and Slovenia

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, is visiting Cyprus and Slovenia today as part of an ongoing series of diplomatic trips ahead of Ireland’s assumption of the EU presidency next year.

Mr Ahern is planning to visit all EU member states and accession states before Ireland takes over the presidency on January 1.
