POA offers proposals to end overtime dispute

Prison officers have put forward new proposals aimed at resolving the overtime dispute.

The Minister for Justice, Michael McDowell, has warned he will implement contingency plans for cutting the €64m annual bill, unless the Prison Officers Association comes to a deal with the Prison Service by this weekend.
