Customs officers at Dublin Airport have seized a quantity of cocaine worth €250,000.

Customs officers at Dublin Airport have seized a quantity of cocaine worth €250,000.

An American man in his 30s has been arrested and taken to Santry garda station, having arrived here from Nigeria, via Amsterdam.

The drugs were concealed in a secret compartment in a briefcase.

It's the second seizure of cocaine in less than a week, bringing the total amount to seven kilos, with a street value of approximately €750,000.
