Man arrested after Dublin drug seizure

A man has been arrested following the seizure of 35kg of cannabis and 0.5kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of €500,000.

The drugs were found when a car was stopped and searched in Coolock in a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs Unit and the Coolock Drugs Unit.

The man, who is in his 40s, is being held at Coolock garda station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
