Anti-terrorist police make arrests after arms find

French police have arrested five people suspected of aiding the Real IRA.

French officials said all five are suspected of providing support for the dissident republican group.

Those detained are all from the Brittany region.

They were held following the discovery of an arms cache in neighbouring Normandy.
