Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has called for dialogue between unions and Aer Rianta management over tomorrow's planned industrial action, and said he thinks negotiation is the best way forward.

The group of unions strike committee has organised a two-hour work stoppage at Cork, Dublin and Shannon Airports between 11am and 1pm over government refusals to negotiate on the future of the state airport authority.
