Three in hospital, one critical after Galway crash

Three people remain in University College Hospital in Galway this morning, one in a serious condition, following a five-car pile up near the village of Clarinbridge in Co Galway yesterday.

The incident happened on the main Galway to Limerick road yesterday evening, causing major carnage.
