Hospital consultants hit out at ESRI report

Hospital consultants have hit out at the ESRI mid-term review of the National Development Plan published today.

It recommended curtailing public spending in a number of areas, including a proposal not to supply the 3,000 extra hospital beds promised in the National Health Strategy.
