Martin warns publicans to implement smoking ban

Health Minister Micheál Martin has warned publicans that they could be sued by their employees if they fail to implement the Government’s proposed ban on smoking on the workplace.

Mr Martin said he believed the widespread opposition to the ban within the hospitality industry was based on "unfounded" fears of a loss of business.
