PAC to visit Mountjoy today

Members of the Dáil’s Public Accounts Committee are due to visit Mountjoy Jail in Dublin today as part of a fact-finding tour of Ireland’s prisons.

Sean Ardagh, the chairman of the committee, said yesterday that he hoped to get a first-hand impression of conditions at the prison.
