Gardaí continue missing baby search

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing their search for a newborn baby boy after his mother revealed she left him in a vacant flat in the city.

The woman was in a distressed state after she contacted a helpline over the weekend saying she left the child in a flat in Ballymun.

Gardaí have been unable to find the infant because the address given by the mother doesn't exist.

They have appealed to the woman to come forward and help them locate her baby.
