Gardaí appeal to mother who abandoned baby

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing to a woman who claims to have abandoned a baby in Ballymun to contact them again.

The young woman contacted a third party over the weekend to say she had given birth to a baby boy in a flat at Ballymun in the early hours of Sunday morning.
