A pregnant woman has escaped injury in an arson attack on her home in Co Armagh.

A pregnant woman has escaped injury in an arson attack on her home in Co Armagh.

The attack took place at a house in Lisanally Gardens in Armagh City where windows were smashed and a flammable device thrown at the front door.

The woman was not injured but was taken to hospital suffering from shock.

Minor scorch damage was caused by the incident, which took place around 8.45pm yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said a motive had not yet been established and officers were following all lines of inquiry.
