Bank holiday drivers warned on safety
Bank holiday drivers are being warned about the dangers of the roads this weekend.
Six people died in car crashes over the corresponding weekend last year.
The National Safety Council has moved forward their "Arrive Alive" campaign to check for speeding, drink-driving and seatbelts.
The Minister for Transport Seamus Brennan said drivers were much more likely to be killed on a bank holiday and is pleading with them to take care.
