Woodies DIY creates 50 jobs in Carlow

Woodies DIY has opened a new store in Carlow, creating 50 new jobs.

The chain now employs more than 1,000 people in Ireland, at 16 stores.

The firm is planning to open four more retail outlets in the next 18 months.
