Stop the killing, pleads priest
Fr Donough O’Malley, a parish priest in Limerick, has called for an end to the spree of killings in the city.
He was speaking at the funeral mass of Michael Campbell McNamara, the 23-year-old who was found shot dead with his hands tied behind his back in a field near Limerick city on Monday.
During the mass Fr O’Malley said, “Hatred is a cancer that must be wiped out. In the name of God, stop the killing.”
