The Government’s proposed ban on smoking in the workplace may not be implemented in pubs and restaurants until the end of January, according to reports this morning.

The Government’s proposed ban on smoking in the workplace may not be implemented in pubs and restaurants until the end of January, according to reports this morning.

The reports said it appeared the ban would not be enforced until January 25 or 26 in order to give publicans and restaurateurs time to adapt to the new law.
