BoI Trust awards 53 students scholarships

The Bank of Ireland Millennium Scholars Trust has awarded 53 students with scholarships ranging from €3,200 per annum to a maximum of €32,000.

To date the Trust has helped 246 students - facing economic, social, and other barriers throughout the 32 counties - to go to college.

The Bank has committed to continue providing scholarship funding, totaling €12.5m, until 2009.
