Police identify man's remains in Co Down

Police in the North have identified the remains of a man found in Bangor, Co Down, last week.

Police in the North have identified the remains of a man found in Bangor, Co Down, last week.

The body was that of Charles Gibson, a terminally ill man who had been missing since March 4, 2001.

His remains were found at Ballymacormack Point last Friday. Police are not treating Mr Gibson’s death as suspicious.
