The replica famine ship Jeanie Johnston has arrived in Newfoundland in Canada.

The vessel, which was built in Co Kerry, left Ireland eight months ago. The original Jeanie Johnston was built in Canada.

15 trainee sailors from North and South of the border are working aboard the ship, as part of the International Fund for Ireland's Wider Horizons Programme.
