Talks begin to avert Aer Lingus action

Talks have begun in the Labour Court in the hope of trying to prevent a strike by cabin crew at Aer Lingus later this month.

More than 1,000 staff have threatened to strike on October 23 and October 27 unless the issue of a wage increase is addressed immediately.
