40 jobs to go at Co Donegal factory

40 jobs are to go at the MDR factory in Gweedore Industrial Estate in Co Donegal.

The company, which employs 500 people, made the announcement today.

Local Fine Gael TD Dinny McGinley is calling on the Government to get involved and implement a development plan before there is a haemorrhage of young people from the area.
